Blake was a former tax associate at KPMG where he focused on banks, insurance companies, and high net worth individuals.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting, with highest honors, from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University where he achieved a 4.00 GPA and graduated #1 in his class. He also recently received his Master of Science in Accounting from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University where he achieved a 4.00 GPA. Blake passed all parts of the Uniform CPA Exam.  

Additionally, Blake was awarded the Elijah Watts Sells award for his performance on the CPA exam.  This award was given to 39 individuals in 2012 out of over 92,000 people who sat for the exam that year.  

Outside of work, Blake is on the advisory board for Junior Achievement of LaPorte County and a member of the Michigan City Rotary Club Scholarship Committee.  He also is a volunteer firefighter for the Long Beach Fire Department.

Blake's hobbies include traveling, spending time on Lake Michigan, and learning to play golf.
