Blake joined Applegate & Company in 2014. Prior to joining Applegate & Company, Blake was a tax associate at KPMG where he focused on banks, insurance companies, and high net worth individuals.

Blake received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting, with highest honors, from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University where he achieved a 4.00 GPA and graduated #1 in his class. He also received his Master of Science in Accounting from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University where he achieved a 4.00 GPA.

Additionally, Blake was awarded the Elijah Watts Sells award for his performance on the CPA exam. This award was given to 39 individuals in 2012 out of over 92,000 people who sat for the exam that year.

Outside of work, Blake serves as treasurer for the Long Beach Volunteer Fire Department as well as serving as a lieutenant on the department. Additionally, Blake serves as treasurer for the Michigan City Area Chamber of Commerce.

Blake's hobbies include traveling, spending time with family, and enjoying Lake Michigan.
