Paul has a total of thirty-nine years of experience in the public accounting profession.

Paul is a former audit manager at Crowe, Chizek and Company, CPAs where he was employed for nine years. He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting, with honors, from Indiana University in 1974 and a minor in German.  

He is a CPA with current membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society.  He also was a member of the board of directors of the Calumet Chapter of the Indiana CPA Society.

Outside of work Paul is heavily involved in the community.  He served as the treasurer and board member for the Michigan City Area Chamber of Commerce for six years.  Paul is also the current treasurer for the Long Beach Civic Association and Lake Clare Homeowner's Association and is a board member for the Franciscan Alliance Foundation and the Unity Foundation of La Porte County.

Paul's hobbies include playing tennis, snow skiing, gardening and traveling to various international locations.
